The Rt. Rev. Dr. Col. Page Brooks
The Rt. Rev. Dr. Page Brooks is a dynamic pastor-theologian, non-profit leader, and Missional Lead/Bishop for Missio Mosaic: A Missional Society (missiomosaic.org). A native of Alabama, he has served in New Orleans for over 20 years, ministering in the urban core with a focus on church planting, community development, and missional outreach. As Senior Pastor of Canal Street Church, he has led a re-plant and merger project that birthed several ministries, including non-profits and new church plants. Dr. Brooks is passionate about biblical teaching, mentoring leaders, and initiating justice-centered projects that reflect the Gospel's transformative power. His scholarly work spans theology and culture, ethics, Christianity and Islam, and chaplaincy. In addition, he serves as the State Command Chaplain for the Louisiana National Guard, overseeing spiritual care for over 11,000 soldiers and airmen.
As Missionary Bishop and Missional Lead for Missio Mosaic, Dr. Brooks brings vision and leadership to a network of churches, ministries, chaplains, non-profits, and educational initiatives dedicated to fostering reconciling relationships through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Missio Mosaic's ecumenical ethos bridges denominational lines to be a unifying force centered on the Gospel. In this capacity, Dr. Brooks serves as a missionary bishop with the Province of St. Peter, providing oversight and training to church plants and chaplains.
Dr. Brooks holds a Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is pursuing a second Ph.D. in just war theory at Vrije University of Amsterdam. He also holds an M.Th. from the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) and has conducted additional studies at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, and Northpark Theological Seminary. His academic interests include theology and culture, missiology, and ecclesiology, and he has taught at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and currently serves as Professor and Chair of Theology at the School of Urban Missions Bible College and Seminary (SUM). He is a member of the Society of Pentecostal Studies and the Evangelical Theological Society.
At the St. Patrick’s Institute for Missional Anglicanism, Dr. Brooks mentors in Christian Ethics, Missional Theology, Christianity and Culture, Islam and Christianity, and Church Leadership, offering his expertise in both pastoral ministry and academic scholarship. His unique blend of practical ministry experience and theological depth would enrich the institute's mission to provide comprehensive Anglican theological education. Additionally, his deep engagement in chaplaincy and strategic leadership would allow him to lead discussions on Anglican Chaplaincy, Just War Theory, and Missional Leadership.
