Rev. Dr. Andrew Hollingsworth
Rev. Andrew Hollingsworth (just call me Andrew) currently serves as the Vicar and Priest of Church of the Holy Trinity, an Anglican church that Andrew and his family planted in Mandeville, LA. He also serves as Affiliate Professor at Kairos University, and he is a Canon Theologian with Missio Mosaic: A Missional Society. Andrew has a strong passion for integrating biblical, theological, and philosophical study into everyday Christian life. Nothing excites him more than seeing the eyes of parishioners and students light up when an obscure biblical passage or a difficult theological idea “clicks” for them and helps them to make more sense of God and themselves. In addition to his ministries with Church of the Holy Trinity, Missio Mosaic, and Kairos University, Andrew also hosts Theology and Stuff with Andrew Hollingsworth, which is a video and audio podcast dedicated to helping followers of Christ to think more deeply about Holy Scripture, themselves, and culture.
Andrew is the author or editor of four books and numerous academic articles. His books include God in the Labyrinth: A Semiotic Approach to Christian Theology (Wipf & Stock, 2019), Theology for the Future: The Enduring Promise of Wolfhart Pannenberg (Lexington Books/Fortress Academic, 2021), w/R. T. Mullins–The Incarnation: Four Views (Cascade, forthcoming), and The Triune God and the Eternal Relations of Origin (Cascade, forthcoming). His peer-reviewed research has appeared in Journal of Theological Studies, Faith and Philosophy: The Journal of the Society of Christian Philosophers, Neue Zeitschrift für Systematische Theologie und Religionsphilosophie, International Journal of Philosophy of Religion, Journal of Analytic Theology, Theologica: An International Journal for Philosophy of Religion and Philosophical Theology, Philosophia Christi: The Journal of the Evangelical Philosophical Society, The Global Anglican, Irish Theological Quarterly, Religions, and other journals.
